Primary Function

Implement, coordinate, direct, and supervise the Teen REACH Program within the organization.

Roles (Essential Job Responsibilities)

  1. Implement the Teen REACH Program, ensuring that all staff are knowledgeable of the program goals, objectives, and outcomes.
  2. Coordinate the program throughout the Unit in all program areas ensuring the required programs are operated in the grant period per the Alliance program model.
  3. Develop and implement the outreach efforts, coordinating with local community partners to ensure the required number of youth is recruited.
  4. Implement retention efforts designed to retain Teen REACH youth and ensure their regular attendance to meet all program performance goals.
  5. Ensure all program performance goals are met and outcomes evaluation efforts are managed effectively to meet goals.
  6. Conduct and manage the proper intake and tracking of the recruited tracked members.
  7. Supervise the daily operation of the program and the modified case management efforts of assigned staff as modified case managers.
  8. Complete the required monthly reports and submit them to the Alliance by the 10th of the following month. Complete the required reporting forms accurately and on time for supervisor review. Manage the member software tracking system to accurately track membership records, attendance, and participation of tracked members.
  9. Coordinate all evaluation efforts required by the program.
  10. Interpret Teen REACH Program to the community and develop and maintain successful community and school partnerships and the operation of the Community Advisory Council.

Additional Responsibilities

  1. Assume Site Supervisor role for food service program when needed, which includes monitoring program, supervising cook, completing menus, purchasing food, maintaining all records and submitting to Office Manager for reimbursement.
  2. Assist with daily facility maintenance and closure at the end of the program day as needed.

Relationships

Internal: Maintains close, daily contact with Club staff, Club members, and supervisor to receive/provide information and discuss issues.

External: Maintains contact with members, member’s parents, external community groups, schools, and others.

Requirements:

Specific Competencies

  1. Must have good planning and organizational skills and be detail oriented.
  2. Ability to deal with the members, staff, and general public in a friendly, professional manner.
  3. Ability to manage multiple tasks.
  4. Must have good communication skills. Prefer bilingual.

Skills/Knowledge Required

  1. Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university
  2. Knowledge of youth development programs
  3. Valid driver’s license
  4. Prefer First Aid/CPR certification, or will train

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

  1. Must be able to lift 25 pounds
