Pharmacy Fellow at Powers Health – Hobart, Indiana

Under general supervision of Staff Pharmacist and according to precise procedures, assists Pharmacists in filling prescriptions by interpreting, preparing, and distributing medications. Fills medication orders with appropriate medications (for review and approval by a Registered Pharmacist). Transcribes and enters physicians’ orders into the computer, price prescriptions and supplies, enters charges, and performs associated duties.

A High School Diploma is required. Must be enrolled in a state accredited pharmacy school. Analytical ability necessary to calculate dosages, determine infusion completion from rates of flow, and convert units of measure. Ability to weigh and measure. Basic typing skills.
