Warehouse Distribution Associate in Laredo, Texas at Transmaritime, Inc.

Position Objective:

Responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing, and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules.

Main Activities

Receive incoming shipments and verify the accuracy of the contents against shipping documents. Properly identify received materials, ensuring they match purchase orders, manifests, or packing slips.

Apply appropriate labels to received materials, including barcodes, product identifiers, and handling instructions. Ensure that all labeling is clear, accurate, and in compliance with organizational standards.

Identifying any missing, lost, or damaged materials and immediately notify the supervisor.

Managing all merchandise with appropriate care.

Process incoming orders accurately and efficiently, including picking, packing, and preparing items for shipment. Ensure that orders are fulfilled in a timely manner to meet customer expectations and shipping deadlines.

Ensuring that all the merchandise is safely and securely packed and labeled for shipping.

Scanning labels to ensure products are being shipped to the right destination.

Assisting with training of newly employed workers.

Perform tasks strictly as assigned. If you have questions and/or doubts you must stop immediately for additional instructions.

Compliance with Safety and Security Programs.

Observe all Signs and regulations with US Customs, HAZMAT, and DOT regulations.

Maintain Facilities, clean, organized, & compliant with regulation.

Be courteous and responsible with all drivers and/or contract vendors.

Use Material Handling equipment only if you have been properly authorized to do so.

Daily housekeeping activities.

Report to Warehouse Lead or Warehouse Manager at start of day and end of day for release and timecard check.
