This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Sr HR Associate (Shared Services) - 9 month fixed term in India.
This role sits within a fast-paced global shared services environment, supporting end-to-end HR operations for an international workforce. You will play a key part in managing employee lifecycle processes such as onboarding, offboarding, payroll coordination, and HR data administration across multiple regions, particularly APAC and UAE. The position involves close collaboration with internal teams, external vendors, and employees to ensure seamless HR service delivery. You will handle sensitive employee data, maintain compliance with HR policies, and ensure accuracy across all HR systems and documentation. The environment is highly international, collaborative, and service-oriented, requiring strong attention to detail and a proactive mindset. - Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, offboarding, transfers, visa renewals, absences, and employee data management.
- Prepare and manage HR documentation such as employment contracts, amendments, certificates, onboarding guides, and policy-related documents.
- Maintain accurate employee records in HR systems by updating personal data, status changes, benefits, and termination information.
- Coordinate payroll-related inputs including time, attendance, and expense data in collaboration with payroll teams and external providers.
- Support benefits administration by working with brokers, insurers, and internal teams for enrollments and updates.
- Perform regular audits to ensure data accuracy and timely processing of HR and payroll activities.
- Act as a first point of contact for employees and stakeholders during onboarding and offboarding processes.
- Liaise with internal teams and external vendors to ensure smooth coordination of HR services across regions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of HR processes and update standard operating procedures where needed.
- Communicate effectively with employees and stakeholders to resolve queries and ensure service excellence aligned with SLAs.
- 2–5 years of experience in HR operations, preferably within a shared services or global HR environment.
- Strong understanding of HR policies, processes, and employee lifecycle management.
- Experience working with HR systems and maintaining accurate employee data records.
- Basic understanding of labor laws, especially across APAC and UAE regions (preferred).
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Strong customer service mindset with the ability to manage employee queries professionally and efficiently.
- Proficiency in MS Office tools.
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and time management abilities.
- Ability to work in multicultural, international teams across different time zones.
- Problem-solving mindset with a proactive approach to issue resolution.
- Familiarity with AI tools and digital platforms to improve workflow efficiency is an advantage.
- Additional language skills such as Mandarin, Japanese, Korean, Thai, or Vietnamese are a plus.
