Position Description

We are seeking a Production Associate to be part of our production team at our Clarksville, TN facility. You will work on an assembly line and will be cross trained on all stations and battery assembly machinery. Assembly will include mechanical connections, electrical harnesses, PCBA installation, and operational tests on battery packs. Attention to detail and an aptitude for continuous improvement are a must. You must be familiar with hand and power tools. Experience with power assisted handling of large and heavy items (preferably batteries), live electricity, and ESD-sensitive handling/installation, is preferred.

Job Responsibilities

  • Work with a mindset of safety for yourself and coworkers.
  • Strive for the highest quality and make suggestions for process improvements.
  • Operate battery pack assembly equipment and machinery.
  • Check inventory counts to ensure the correct materials on hand.
  • Use tools and machinery to assemble products.
  • Use overhead hoists, pallet jacks, and carts to move and stage materials.
  • Use a forklift to load packs safely and efficiently.
  • Inspect products for accuracy and uniformity.
  • Operate tests and quality checks on battery packs.
  • Report on your output for the day.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED certificate.
  • Electronics, automotive electrical, or battery assembly experience preferred.
  • Manual dexterity.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Forklift and overhead crane experience a plus.
  • Battery handling, assembly, and testing experience is a plus.
