Responsibilities

This is a full-time remote position that can be located anywhere in the U.S.

The Client Specialist serves as a primary liaison between clients, Service Operations, and internal business partners to support the delivery of Workers' Compensation medical bill review services. This position is responsible for maintaining client relationships, supporting operational performance, implementing program enhancements, resolving service issues, and ensuring a high level of client satisfaction.

The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to leverage technology and AI-enabled tools to improve service delivery, reporting, and operational efficiency.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary operational contact for assigned clients, building and maintaining strong working relationships.
  • Coordinate client program changes and support implementation activities to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Monitor operational performance, including inventory, turnaround times, and service-level commitments, and address issues as appropriate.
  • Investigate and resolve client inquiries, service concerns, and operational escalations.
  • Collaborate with clients, vendors, and internal business partners to resolve workflow challenges and support business objectives.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present operational reports, performance metrics, and business insights to stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency, service quality, and the client experience.
  • Maintain workflow documentation, procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Utilize Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled tools to improve productivity, reporting, analysis, communication, and workflow effectiveness.
  • Participate in client meetings, business reviews, audits, and special projects as assigned.
  • Business travel as needed.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma and two or more years of relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong customer service, communication, and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrated analytical, critical-thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize competing responsibilities and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong written communication and documentation skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
  • Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft Copilot and other AI-enabled productivity tools.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in Workers' Compensation medical bill review.
  • Knowledge of Workers' Compensation regulations and processes.
  • Experience supporting clients in Texas, California, Utah, Florida, Pennsylvania, Nevada, New York, and Illinois.
  • Experience with Salesforce, SmartAdvisor, Tableau, or similar reporting and workflow management tools.
  • Experience with operational reporting, data analysis, and process improvement initiatives.

The expected base pay for this position ranges from $59,000 - $75,000 annually, and will be based on a number of additional factors including skills, experience, and education.
