$2,500 SIGN ON BONUS FOR NEW APPLICANTS (half to be paid after successfully completing 6 months of employment as an EFDA and half to be paid after a year with Smiles 4 Keeps)
Smiles 4 Keeps Pediatric Dentistry is currently hiring Expanded Function Dental Assistants (EFDAs) for our well-established, rapidly growing practice in our Hazleton location. We are looking for positive, fun-loving, detail-oriented, respectful and compassionate professionals. Job Responsibilities
Complete restorative work initiated by the dentist within the limits provided by the state certification.
Review patient health history.
Provide information to patients and parents
Positioning instruments for dentist's access; suctioning; retracting, passing instruments.
Provide materials by selecting, mixing, and placing materials on instruments and in the patient's mouth.
Fill tooth preps with restorative material.
Take Impressions.
Pour plaster for impressions.
Observe vitals.
Keep patient comfortable and calm, hold patients hand.

Requirements:Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Current PA state EFDA license
Current CPR certification
Current radiology certification
Maintain CE requirements
Background checks and drug and alcohol checks required. We are proud to be a smoke-free workplace.
Previous medical industry experience and dental terminology knowledge
