Matheny Medical and Educational Center is seeking Full Time Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to float between our Somerset County Group Homes.

The ideal candidate is available to work 7am-7pm and have flexibility in their schedule to meet the needs of the individuals we serve. Candidates must have reliable transportation to travel between group homes and day program.

• Team members will be trained in all 5 Somerset County group homes and the day program to gain a broader understanding of our DDD programs.
• Team members will be willing and able to transport residents in company vehicles, as needed.
• Team members will be trained to administer medication when needed in all homes.

• Team members will be offered an increased pay rate due to the demands of flexibility and proficiency in multiple sites.

The salary range and/or hourly rate listed is a good faith determination of potential base compensation that may be offered to a successful applicant for this position at the time of this job advertisement and may be modified in the future. When determining a team member’s base salary and/or rate, several factors may be considered as applicable (e.g., location, specialty, service line, years of relevant experience, education, credentials, negotiated contracts, budget and internal equity).

The minimum salary scale for this position is $25 per hour.

Full Time qualified candidates who are hired will receive a Signing Bonus of $1,500.00. ($750.00 payable after completion of six months of continuous employment and the remaining $750.00 after completion of 1 year of continuous employment).

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or G.E.D. required.
• Valid driver's license with less than 5 points.
• One year of experience working with persons with developmental disabilities in a DDD Group Home or Day Program required.
• Flexibility in your schedule to float to all our Somerset County DDD programs.
