Job Summary

The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for supervising the maintenance and repair of facilities and equipment across our campus. This position will evaluate new and existing processes, improve preventive maintenance plans, contribute to continuous improvement projects, and oversee projects and contractors. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor plays a key role in maintaining overall functionality and safety of our facilities, contributing to the well-being of employees

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure buildings and facilities are maintained according to standard.
  • Work within budget to prioritize and recommend facilities maintenance and repair activities.
  • Clean, lubricate, and service a wide variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devices
  • Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, etc.
  • Develop preventive maintenance procedures based on manufacturers’ recommendations.
  • Perform job site inspections as part of GMP (good manufacturing practices).
  • Comply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits.
  • Take ownership of reliability projects from start to finish.
  • Develop, improve, and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Enforce OSHA, Company and Department safety and GMP policies and regulations.
  • Communicate cross departmentally to coordinate plant-wide work.
  • Oversee contractors on site.
  • Perform supervisory duties for team of non-exempt employee

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field, completed State Apprenticeship, or combination of relevant coursework and hands-on experience including supervisory responsibilities.
  • Minimum of 3 years supervisory experience
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in facilities/plant maintenance
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate documentation
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) with proven problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task under continuously changing business priorities.
