Position Summary
The Event Services Manager is responsible for the planning, servicing, financial management, and execution of all group events assigned by the Director of Events & Catering. This position assumes full ownership of assigned events from turnover through final billing, serving as the primary liaison between the client and the Club while ensuring exceptional service, operational excellence, and financial accuracy throughout the event lifecycle. Working closely with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Golf Operations, Member Experiences, and other Internal Business Units (IBUs), the Event Services Manager ensures every event is executed according to Bluejack National standards while protecting the financial integrity of each event through accurate detailing, billing, deposits, and post-event reconciliation.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
Assume full ownership of assigned group events from turnover through final billing and post-event reconciliation. Serve as the primary point of contact for all assigned clients throughout the planning and execution process. Plan, coordinate, and execute all assigned corporate, social, and member-sponsored group events sold by the Director of Events & Catering. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients while delivering exceptional customer service throughout the event lifecycle. Prepare and manage Banquet Event Orders (BEOs), event diagrams, timelines, room layouts, and all event documentation required for successful execution. Conduct planning meetings, site visits, menu tastings, walkthroughs, and final event confirmations with clients. Coordinate all event logistics with Food & Beverage, Culinary, Golf Operations, Facilities, Security, Housekeeping, Member Services, and other Internal Business Units to ensure operational readiness. Lead internal pre-event meetings and communicate all event details to operational teams. Monitor event timelines and ensure all planning milestones are completed accurately and on schedule.Maintain financial accountability for assigned events by reviewing deposits, monitoring payment schedules, verifying billing accuracy, identifying revenue opportunities, minimizing billing discrepancies, and ensuring timely completion of final invoices and event reconciliation.Coordinate vendor requirements, certificates of insurance, permits, rentals, entertainment, and outside services as required. Maintain complete and accurate event files in accordance with departmental standards. Identify potential operational concerns and proactively communicate solutions before they impact the guest experience. Ensure every assigned event reflects Bluejack National service standards, brand expectations, and hospitality excellence. Maintain compliance with departmental Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Club policies, and event servicing standards. Assist the Director of Events & Catering with departmental projects and perform additional duties as assigned.Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

Bachelor’s Degree (preferred in Hospitality, Event Management or related field) Minimum (3) years of event experience (preferred in hospitality or club)Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.Strong time management skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt to complex situations.Ability to learn all aspects of Club policies, room specifications and menu offerings.Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, experience with Club Management Software is a plus.Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED required; an associate’s degree in baking and pastry arts or equivalent relevant work experience is preferred.
APPROXIMATE SCHEDULE AND HOURS:
Weekdays, weekends, and Holidays, schedule flexible as business dictates.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS:
Must possess a valid Texas Driver’s License and meet the driver safety policy requirements.
Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this position. Our property sits on 767 acres and features many indoor and outdoor facilities that make up the work environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand and move around for the entirety or majority of their shift. The employee may be working outside or inside and in different types of weather including excessive heat, cold temperatures, rain and sunshine. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is also regularly required to push, pull, bend, lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Likely this role will require the ability to drive a golf cart to transport from one area of the property to another in a safe and secure manner.
