Salary Range: $75,000.00 To $85,000.00 Annually

The Analyst, Pricing & Revenue Strategy is a hands-on commercial analyst focused on identifying and measuring pricing opportunities across sailings, categories, itineraries, regions, markets, and currencies. The role monitors booking pace, occupancy, demand, availability, and revenue; develops clear pricing recommendations; validates approved changes; and improves the tools and business rules that support more responsive pricing decisions.
This is an Analyst-level role. The position analyzes, recommends, validates, documents, and escalates. Revenue Management leadership retains final accountability for pricing strategy, promotional decisions, material exceptions, and approvals.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Core duties and responsibilities include the

Dynamic Pricing & Revenue Optimization
- Monitor booking pace, occupancy, demand, availability, and revenue performance.
- Identify pricing opportunities and commercial risks by sailing, category, itinerary, region, market, and currency.
- Prepare data-supported recommendations for price increases, decreases, category adjustments, or targeted action within approved guardrails.
- Measure booking and revenue response after approved pricing changes and clearly summarize results.
- Support the development and testing of pricing rules, thresholds, alerts, and recommendation models.
- Document assumptions, approvals, exceptions, and change history used in pricing decisions.
Promotional & Offer Analysis
- Evaluate the booking and revenue impact of retail, tactical, partner, and targeted offers.
- Analyze discount depth, offer stacking, category impact, and overall effectiveness.
- Compare pricing action with promotional action and present the tradeoffs for leadership review.
- Measure approved offers and provide practical recommendations for future refinement.
Pricing Systems, Data & Automation
- Maintain and improve pricing models, trackers, dashboards, reporting tools, and analytical templates.
- Partner with IT-Data and business stakeholders to define requirements, test enhancements, and validate outputs.
- Reconcile source data, investigate discrepancies, and maintain clear source-of-truth documentation.
- Help reduce recurring manual work through repeatable reporting, alerts, and approved automation.
Reporting & Commercial Insights – (15%)
- Prepare recurring and ad hoc analysis for Revenue Management leadership.
- Translate detailed analysis into concise findings, risks, and recommended commercial actions.
- Track approved actions and support post-implementation measurement.
- Present findings clearly to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience, subject to HR confirmation.
- 4+ years of experience in an analytical role.
- Strong analytical reasoning, commercial judgment, and attention to detail.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience working with large, detailed datasets.
- Ability to interpret booking pace, occupancy, demand, revenue, pricing, and inventory data.
- Ability to turn analysis into clear, practical recommendations and communicate them effectively.
- Ability to validate data, document methodology, manage recurring deliverables, and respond to ad hoc requests.
Preferred:
- Experience in revenue management, pricing, inventory analysis, travel, cruise, hospitality, or another demand-driven commercial environment.
- Experience with Power BI, Tableau, SQL, Python, or comparable analytical tools.
- Exposure to reservation, booking, pricing, or revenue-management systems.
- Exposure to promotional analysis, price testing, forecasting, demand modeling, system testing, or analytical automation.
Success Measures
- Accurate, timely pricing and performance analysis.
- Clear, usable recommendations supported by validated data and commercial rationale.
- Improved visibility into demand, pricing opportunities, and commercial risk.
- Consistent measurement of approved pricing and promotional actions.
- Well-maintained documentation, source control, and change history.
- Reduced manual rework where repeatable tools or processes are implemented.
- Effective partnership with Revenue Management leadership and cross-functional teams.
