Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Food & Beverage Manager to lead our Food & Beverage operations at the Fairfield Inn & Suites Madison Historic Eagle Cotton Mill.This is a hospitality leadership role for someone who takes pride in delivering great guest experiences. You will help set the standard for quality, cleanliness, and service, while actively coaching and developing your team. If you enjoy being involved in day-to-day operations and partnering with others to meet service and financial goals, we would love to hear from you.Benefits:MEC Plus Advantage Plan/Dental/Vision/Supplemental Coverage with Reliance StandardPaid Holiday for Full Time/Part Time – Upon hirePaid Time Off for Full Time/Part Time – 6 Months of ServiceNationwide Employee Stay Discounts for Hotel BrandResponsibilities:Oversee daily Food & Beverage operations to ensure smooth service, consistent quality, and an outstanding guest experience.Recruit, train, schedule, coach, and motivate Food & Beverage associates while building a positive, accountable, team-focused culture.Maintain a visible presence during service, greet and engage guests, and promptly resolve concerns to protect guest satisfaction.Build schedules based on business levels; monitor productivity, manage overtime, and support department budget and profitability goals.Manage ordering, inventory, food and beverage costs, waste, invoices, and departmental supplies while maintaining appropriate par levels.Ensure compliance with Marriott brand standards, company policies, food safety and sanitation requirements, health regulations, and applicable alcohol-service rules. Requirements: Ability to effectively deal with internal and external customers, some of whom will require high levels of patience, tact, and diplomacy to defuse anger, collect accurate information and resolve ServSafe Food Certification required, or ability to obtain certification within the required timeframe Must possess or be able to obtain the appropriate Indiana Alcohol Server Permit required for serving and overseeing alcoholic beverage service. Excellent customer service skills Bartending experience required. Experience with scheduling, inventory, purchasing, labor management, and cost controls. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as business needs require.
