Be the Face of Service in Our Community:

The Commercial Loan Officer generates new commercial loan relationships while servicing and supporting existing loan customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Generate new lending opportunities:
• Review initial financial information for each new opportunity to gauge bank appetite.
• Coordinate credit presentations for review and approval by management.
• Close Loans/LOC's and coordinate new credit file organization with Loan Processor.
• Communicate on a continual basis with Crest Savings Bank referral sources including CPA's, attorneys, commercial and residential real estate companies, and other centers of influence.
• Service/support existing loan customers:
• Expedite loan and line of credit renewals.
• Help facilitate additional credit requests.
• Solicit existing customers for required financial information due the bank including business and personal tax returns along with updated personal financial information.
• Ongoing review of financial performance of each customer's respective business
• BSA site visits/updates
• Monitor and manage monthly delinquency within individual portfolio.
• Field incoming calls from current customers
• Other Responsibilities:
• Attend bi-weekly loan department meetings (w/residential area).
• Attend after-hour venues for various chambers of commerce and other community service orientated events that the bank belongs to and/or supports.
• Complete ongoing continuing education classes and testing for bank compliance.
• Developing a strong understanding of the roles and responsibilities of other bank partners/departments.
• Represent the bank in the best possible light whenever an opportunity presents itself.

Essential Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years related experience as a Commercial Loan Officer, or equivalent combination of education and experience; of college diploma
• Strong business development skills with the ability to build and maintain lasting client relationships.
• Excellent financial acumen with the ability to assess risk and structure appropriate loan solutions.
