Position Summary

The Stamping Set-Up Operator is responsible for setting up stamping presses and feeder systems, operating equipment safely and effectively, and supporting a positive, team-oriented work environment. This role also provides operators with clear instruction on safe press operation and dies safety while performing all required stamping duties.

Key Responsibilities

• Set up stamping presses and feeder systems for safe, efficient production.

• Operate stamping equipment in accordance with established safety and operating procedures.

• Instruct operators on safe press operation and die safety.

• Perform all stamping operator duties as needed.

• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive, can-do attitude.

• Identify and communicate opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Required knowledge of prior set up and stamping press operator experience.

• At least 2+ years of working knowledge of press operation, die safety, and production procedures.

• Ability to follow instructions, communicate clearly, and train operators on safe work practices.

• Strong attention to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.

• Dependable, team-oriented approach with a willingness to support production needs.
