About the Role
We're looking for a dependable, practical, and hands-on person to support the day-to-day running of our roastery operations.
This varied role combines deliveries, warehouse support, facilities upkeep, and general operational assistance across our roastery, warehouse, and cafe locations. From delivering coffee and equipment to customers, to helping keep our sites organised, safe, and running smoothly, you'll play an important role in supporting the wider team.
No two days are quite the same, so we're looking for someone who enjoys variety, takes pride in doing things properly, and is willing to get involved wherever support is needed.
Key Responsibilities
Deliveries & Logistics
Deliver roasted coffee, equipment, and supplies to wholesale and retail customers
Load and unload vehicles safely and efficiently
Check orders before departure to ensure accuracy
Follow delivery schedules and routes efficiently
Provide a friendly and professional experience for customers during deliveries
Collect returns or equipment where required
Complete delivery paperwork and records accurately
Carry out daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
General Maintenance & Warehouse Support
Carry out basic repairs and general maintenance across the roastery, warehouse, and cafe locations
Assemble shelving, furniture, and workspace equipment
Support with painting, minor repairs, fixtures, and general improvements
Help maintain clean, organised, and safe working areas
Keep tools, maintenance equipment, and storage areas tidy and well organised
Assist with warehouse organisation, stock movements, and operational tasks when required
Provide practical support to the wider team across different departments
Skills & Experience
Essential
Full clean UK driving licence
Practical maintenance, warehouse, facilities, or operational support experience
Confident using basic tools and carrying out general repairs
Good problem-solving skills and ability to use initiative
Organised and reliable, with good time management
Comfortable working independently and prioritising tasks
Physically fit and capable of manual handling
Friendly, approachable, and professional with customers and colleagues
Desirable
Previous delivery driving experience
Previous warehouse or logistics experience
Experience working in a trade, facilities, maintenance, or operational support role
