About the Role:

• Under supervision, performs repairs, preventative maintenance, and user support of biomedical equipment of moderate complexity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assesses failure of equipment and affects repair.
• Demonstrates the ability to service electromechanical equipment in a timely effective manner.
• Communicates with manufacturer's technical support representatives for additional help.
• Appropriately orders repair parts to maintain correct inventory levels.
• Utilize appropriate simulators and electronic test equipment to aid troubleshooting process.
• Performs both scheduled and unscheduled preventative maintenance in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
• Completes work orders or updates status on daily basis in accordance with established departmental policies and procedures.
• Completes Parts Requisitions to obtain necessary parts or supplies.

REQUIREMENTS;

• Education: Associate's degree preferred
• Experience: Prior biomed experience, IT background is a plus. On call rotation after training.
