SVP, Marketing & Ecommerce

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a SVP, Marketing & Ecommerce in the United States.

This executive leadership role is responsible for shaping and scaling a high-growth omnichannel brand across DTC, marketplace, retail, and emerging channels. You will define the strategic direction of marketing, ecommerce, and growth while overseeing a large, multi-disciplinary organization spanning performance marketing, brand, digital product, analytics, and go-to-market execution. The role combines board-level strategic influence with hands-on operational leadership, requiring the ability to move seamlessly between long-term vision and day-to-day execution. You will own full P&L accountability for digital commerce performance, driving revenue growth, profitability, and efficiency across multiple channels. Partnering closely with the CEO and executive leadership team, you will help shape company-wide priorities and ensure marketing is a primary engine of business growth. This is a highly visible role for a senior leader who thrives in fast-paced, scaling environments and is passionate about building enduring consumer brands.

Accountabilities:
  • Lead and develop a multi-functional marketing and ecommerce organization, ensuring strong alignment, performance, and talent development across five senior functional leaders and 35+ team members.
  • Define and continuously evolve the company’s omnichannel marketing and growth strategy across DTC, marketplace, retail, and international expansion.
  • Own the full marketing and ecommerce P&L, driving revenue growth, contribution margin, and EBITDA performance through disciplined investment decisions.
  • Oversee end-to-end ecommerce strategy, including acquisition, conversion, retention, and customer experience optimization across all digital channels.
  • Architect integrated brand, campaign, and go-to-market strategies, ensuring cohesive storytelling and high-impact execution across all touchpoints.
  • Lead major product launches, seasonal campaigns, and promotional initiatives in close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Establish performance frameworks and analytics systems to guide decision-making, ensuring data-driven optimization across all marketing investments.
  • Partner with executive leadership on capital allocation, pricing strategy, and long-term commercial planning.
Requirements:
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and ecommerce, including at least 5+ years in senior executive leadership roles.
  • Proven experience scaling high-growth DTC and omnichannel consumer businesses, ideally with exposure to CPG or similar industries.
  • Strong track record of owning and managing large marketing budgets (eight- to nine-figure scale) and driving measurable financial outcomes (revenue, margin, EBITDA).
  • Deep expertise across modern digital marketing and ecommerce ecosystems, including paid media, lifecycle marketing, SEO, CRO, and analytics.
  • Demonstrated ability to build, lead, and scale high-performing, cross-functional teams.
  • Strong strategic thinking combined with operational execution skills, with the ability to operate effectively at both high-level vision and detailed execution.
  • Experience designing and executing go-to-market strategies for product launches and category expansion.
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive alignment across complex organizations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, challenge assumptions, and guide investment decisions.
  • Entrepreneurial, adaptable, and comfortable operating in fast-paced, ambiguous growth environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary starting from $275,000+, with total compensation dependent on experience and qualifications.
  • Equity participation in a high-growth consumer brand.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with employer contributions.
  • 401(k) plan with company match.
  • Generous parental leave and fertility support programs.
  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility and autonomy.
  • Annual home office and professional development reimbursements.
  • Wellness benefits including gym, meal, and health-related reimbursements.
  • Unlimited PTO plus company holidays and wellness days.
  • Employee product discounts and complimentary product offerings.
  • Monthly coworking space reimbursement for flexible work arrangements.
  • Regular virtual events, company offsites, and team-building initiatives.
