This role contributes to the advancement of next-generation AI systems by strengthening their mathematical reasoning capabilities. You will work on designing and evaluating complex, competition-level mathematical problems that test the limits of AI models across multi-step reasoning tasks. The environment is highly analytical and research-oriented, requiring precision, creativity, and strong logical thinking. You will create original problems in areas such as algebra, number theory, combinatorics, and geometry, while also writing rigorous, fully structured solutions. A key part of the role involves evaluating AI-generated outputs, identifying reasoning gaps, and improving benchmark quality. This is an intellectually challenging opportunity for individuals passionate about advanced mathematics and AI evaluation.
- Design original, competition-level mathematics problems across domains such as algebra, number theory, combinatorics, and geometry to support AI reasoning evaluation.
- Develop and document complete, rigorous mathematical solutions using clear logical structures and LaTeX formatting.
- Evaluate AI-generated solutions, identifying errors in logic, incorrect assumptions, and gaps in mathematical reasoning.
- Classify and structure problems based on topic, complexity, and mathematical difficulty to support benchmark development.
- Contribute to the creation and refinement of advanced mathematical evaluation datasets used in AI research.
- Collaborate with reviewers and research teams to ensure consistency, accuracy, and high-quality standards across outputs.
- Strong competitive mathematics background demonstrated through Olympiads, contests (AIME, HMMT, IMO, or equivalent), or similar achievements.
- Solid academic foundation in mathematics, applied mathematics, engineering, statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- Deep knowledge of algebra, number theory, combinatorics, and geometry with strong proof-writing ability.
- Experience producing mathematical proofs, structured solutions, or advanced technical content with high accuracy.
- Proficiency in LaTeX for professional mathematical documentation and equation formatting.
- Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and ability to evaluate complex reasoning critically.
- Comfortable working independently in a research-driven, task-oriented environment.
