Job Description
This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Business Strategy Analyst (Employer of Record) based in India.
This role sits at the intersection of strategy, analytics, and go-to-market execution within a high-growth, data-driven environment. The analyst will tackle complex, high-impact business questions that shape growth strategy, customer segmentation, and commercial decision-making. Working closely with senior leaders across marketing, product, finance, and analytics, this position requires strong problem framing and the ability to turn ambiguity into structured, data-backed insights. The role is highly independent and suited for someone who thrives in deep analytical thinking rather than executional reporting. It offers strong visibility with Director and VP stakeholders and directly influences strategic initiatives. The environment is collaborative, fast-paced, and focused on measurable business impact.
- Lead end-to-end strategic analyses supporting go-to-market strategy, growth initiatives, customer segmentation, pricing, channel optimization, and market expansion opportunities.
- Translate ambiguous business challenges into structured problem statements, hypotheses, and analytical frameworks without predefined instructions.
- Build financial, strategic, and scenario-based models to evaluate opportunities, risks, trade-offs, and business impact.
- Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends in customer behavior, portfolio performance, and revenue growth drivers.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to shape analytical direction and ensure insights address core business needs.
- Develop executive-level presentations and storytelling outputs that translate data into clear strategic recommendations.
- Define KPIs and success metrics for key initiatives and support ongoing performance tracking and decision-making.
- Contribute to strategic planning cycles and act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership stakeholders.
- 6–8 years of experience in management consulting, corporate strategy, analytics, or GTM-focused roles in fintech, financial services, lending, or technology environments.
- Proven ability to independently lead strategy or analytics workstreams from problem definition through delivery.
- Strong expertise in structured thinking, business case development, and problem-solving frameworks.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL and Excel for complex data analysis, with additional exposure to Python, R, SAS, or Snowflake.
- Experience using BI tools such as Power BI to build dashboards and derive actionable insights.
- Strong ability to work with large datasets and segment-level analysis to uncover business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills, including consulting-style presentations.
- Experience interacting directly with senior stakeholders (Director/VP level) in a cross-functional environment.
- Ability to operate in ambiguity with strong business judgment, intellectual curiosity, and a bias for action.
- Preferred: MBA or advanced degree in a quantitative, business, or engineering field.
- Preferred: Experience in auto finance, fintech, consumer lending, or related industries.
- Competitive compensation package aligned with experience and market benchmarks (CTC range: 28,17,444 to 41,32,252)
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
- Retirement benefits including employer-matched savings plans (where applicable)
- Paid time off, holidays, and flexible leave policies
- Parental leave and family support benefits
- Tuition reimbursement and continuous learning support
- Flexible work arrangements (remote/hybrid depending on role requirements)
- Inclusive, collaborative, and high-performance work environment.
