Position Summary: The Local Enrollment Specialist (LES) is responsible for facilitating the enrollment process for new members, providing guidance and support to individuals seeking to join our program. This role involves explaining the enrollment requirements, assisting with paperwork, and ensuring a smooth and efficient enrollment experience for our members. The role requires an understanding of Clinical research site dynamics, sales to carry the value proposition of CSS and to get past gatekeepers, Patient recruitment on a local level, and if possible site budget or contract experience.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Engages with key decision-makers at the site level to increase revenue and accelerate enrollment.
- Serves as the primary patient recruitment subject matter authority for patient recruitment and retention topics in all site communications.
- Advises study coordinators and PIs on practical, compliant recruitment and retention strategies.
- Recommends and implements site-specific action plans to increase screening, consent and randomization rates.
- Deploys marketing and project management tactics across multiple actively enrolling protocols.
- Analyzes site workflows, revenues, and stakeholder feedback to improve study enrollment
- Provides regular updates on site progress, risks and performance drivers.
- Anticipates risk/benefit issues, assisting with remedial action plans, and troubleshooting
- Contacts patients to facilitate visit scheduling, address participation questions and support visit adherence.
- Conduct or support chart reviews
- Train site staff on recruitment best practices
- Launch or optimize recruitment workflows
- Strengthen site engagement and accountability
- Identifies and engages local referring physicians, advocacy groups and community organizations to build referral pipelines.
- Support audit readiness, including participation in audits and internal quality reviews
- Complete all required SOP training and company-required trainings as assigned and when updated
- Maintain all required licenses and certifications and ensure they remain current and in good standing
- Occasional travel to Company meetings and conferences as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from four-year college or university, or one to two years of related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
