As our Funding & Grants Manager, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating this transition by securing the public funding that enables innovation, commercial deployment, and large-scale industrial projects across Europe.
Working closely with Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Executive Leadership, you will shape our European funding strategy, build strategic partnerships, and lead the complete grant lifecycle—from identifying funding opportunities and preparing competitive proposals to successfully delivering funded projects.

What You'll Do
Shape Our Funding Strategy
- Develop and execute GlassPoint's European funding strategy aligned with our technology and commercial roadmap.
- Identify, evaluate, and monitor European, national, and regional funding opportunities.
- Assess project eligibility and recommend the most suitable funding mechanisms.
- Maximize funding opportunities that accelerate technology deployment and commercial growth.
Secure Strategic Funding
- Lead competitive grant applications from concept to submission.
- Coordinate technical, commercial, and financial contributions across cross-functional teams.
- Build strategic partnerships with customers, universities, research institutions, funding agencies, and consortium partners.
- Develop compelling proposals, project plans, budgets, and funding strategies.
Deliver Successful Projects
- Manage the complete grant lifecycle from award through reporting and final audit.
- Monitor milestones, budgets, funding utilization, compliance, and project performance.
- Prepare technical and financial reports while ensuring successful project delivery.
Build Relationships
- Represent GlassPoint with funding agencies, innovation networks, and strategic partners.
- Build long-term relationships with customers, consortium partners, and external stakeholders.
- Collaborate across Engineering, Commercial, Finance, and Executive Leadership to identify and deliver new funding opportunities.
Who You Are
You're someone who enjoys solving complex problems and turning ambitious ideas into reality.
You combine strategic thinking with strong execution and are comfortable bringing together technical, commercial, financial, and public-sector stakeholders around a common objective.
Ideally, you'll bring:
- A Master's degree in Engineering, Energy Systems, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Economics, or a related discipline.
- 5+ years of experience in grants management, innovation funding, public funding, project finance, or a related field.
- A proven track record securing and managing major European, national, or regional funding programmes (e.g. Horizon Europe, Innovation Fund, LIFE, or similar initiatives).
- Strong knowledge of European and national funding mechanisms and application processes.
- Experience managing the complete grant lifecycle.
- Strong project management, financial, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Experience in renewable energy, industrial decarbonization, clean technology, or large-scale engineering projects is an advantage.

The pay range for this role is:
85,000 - 95,000 EUR per year(Germany)
