Job Description
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
The purpose of this position is to provide faculty support to meet the teaching, and patient care needs of the Department of Ophthalmology and assist in fulfilling UTMB's mission. This position will provide optical care. He/she will participate in all teaching activities of the Department including conferences and lectures, house staff supervision in the clinics, continuing education, and local, regional and national meetings.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidate should be a graduate of an accredited medical school, have completed an ACGME approved residency training program in general optometry, be Certified/Board Eligible in Optometry and have a Texas Optometry license without restrictions.
SALARY:
Commensurate with experience.
