New Business Placement Specialist in Lexington, North Carolina at Mountcastle Insurance

A. SUMMARY

The New Business Placement Specialist will oversee the marketing of new commercial lines business over a certain revenue in the agency. This role works alongside the Commercial Lines producer to assist with new business process including gathering insured information, preparing statement of values, preparing supplemental applications, and market research. This role also works closely with carrier partners and strengthening those relationships for the agency. This is a salaried role that has the opportunity to earn bonus based on new business written.

B. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Lead all marketing efforts for middle and large accounts with revenue exceeding $5K. Manage the end-to-end marketing process for new and renewal business, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
• Schedule and lead appointments with key carrier partners, maintaining and strengthening these crucial relationships. Respond promptly to inquiries from carrier partners and marketing representatives.
• Work alongside the Business Insurance Specialists to gather all necessary information to accurately market accounts, including potentially going on site visits.
• Prepare comprehensive insurance proposals for new and renewal business. For larger accounts, develop and present PowerPoint decks summarizing terms and conditions.
• Ensure all necessary documents are complete and maintained in our Agency Management System

• 3-5 years of experience in Commercial Lines Insurance
• Proven track record of managing complex accounts
• Self-starter
• Excellent communication skills
• Active NC Property and Casualty License
