Job Description

Position Summary

The Service Technician 1 is an entry-level field position within our Service Department. This role is responsible for performing routine pool maintenance, seasonal service work, water chemistry balancing, and assisting with basic equipment repairs and inspections.

This is a hands-on, outdoor position ideal for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow within the pool service industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform routine pool maintenance including vacuuming, brushing, skimming, and basket cleaning
  • Complete seasonal pool openings and closings
  • Test and balance pool water chemistry
  • Inspect pumps, filters, heaters, and plumbing systems for proper operation
  • Identify and report equipment issues requiring repair or replacement
  • Assist senior technicians with repairs and equipment installations
  • Safely operate company vehicles, tools, and equipment
  • Maintain accurate service records and job notes
  • Provide professional and courteous customer service at all times
QualificationsMinimum Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Ability to lift 50–75 lbs
  • Mechanically inclined with basic hand tool knowledge
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Strong work ethic, reliability, and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
  • Previous pool service, landscaping, maintenance, or mechanical experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of pool water chemistry
  • Customer service experience is a plus
