Parts Sorter in Fort Wayne, Indiana at QuikCut LLC

QuikCut is seeking a Parts Sorter to assist production with accurately sorting, counting, inspecting, and organizing manufactured parts throughout the production process. This position plays a critical role in ensuring customer orders are complete, correctly identified, and routed to the appropriate next operation. The Parts Sorter works closely with production, shipping, quality, and finishing departments to maintain efficient workflow and support on-time delivery.

• Sort laser-cut, fabricated, welded, and finished parts according to work orders, job numbers, and customer requirements.
• Verify part quantities against production documentation and report discrepancies.
• Separate parts by customer, order, material type, and downstream operation.
• Apply identification labels, tags, or markings as required.
• Move parts and materials safely using carts, pallet jacks, or other approved equipment.
• Stage completed orders for shipping, painting, powder coating, welding, fabrication, or other operations.

• Ability to read and interpret work orders, labels, and production documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining quality standards.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the shift.
