SUMMARY:
SPR is seeking a Marketing Communications Manager to help bring our marketing strategy to life across the channels our customers, partners, and internal teams rely on every day.
This role is responsible for managing the execution of SPR’s outbound marketing communications across email, social media, CRM communications, podcast content, campaign releases, and other key marketing channels. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable managing multiple moving pieces, and able to turn campaign inputs from across the marketing team into a clear, consistent, and effective communications experience.
This person will own the day-to-day marketing production calendar, maintain brand and messaging standards across channels, and help ensure SPR’s marketing materials are not only delivered, but adopted and used by customers. This is a hands-on individual contributor role for someone who enjoys execution, communication, coordination, and understanding how marketing supports sales and go-to-market growth.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Marketing Communications Execution: Own and manage the execution of SPR’s multichannel marketing communications calendar, including email campaigns, social media content, CRM communications, podcast releases, campaign launches, and other outbound marketing initiatives. Coordinate with category marketing managers and internal stakeholders to gather campaign information, content, creative assets, audience details, timing, and messaging needs, then bring those inputs together into a clear, consistent, and timely communications schedule.
Email Marketing and CRM Communications: Own the execution of SPR’s email marketing campaigns, including campaign setup, scheduling, audience coordination, copy support, testing, deployment, and performance tracking. Manage day-to-day CRM communications and help ensure messaging is targeted, timely, and aligned with SPR’s broader marketing and sales priorities.
Social Media and Digital Content: Manage the production and scheduling of SPR’s social media content calendar across key platforms. Work across the marketing team to coordinate creative, copy, campaign details, product information, vendor messaging, and other content needed to support social media execution while helping tell the SPR story through consistent, engaging, and brand-aligned social content.
Brand Standards and Messaging Consistency: Maintain SPR’s brand standards, messaging guidelines, and tone across outbound marketing channels. Review and support copy across email, social media, CRM communications, podcast promotion, website updates, internal communications, and vendor-facing materials as needed to ensure communications feel connected, professional, and aligned with SPR’s broader brand story.
Marketing Enablement and Customer Adoption: Help ensure SPR’s marketing materials are adopted, used, and valued by customers. Develop an understanding of how SPR goes to market, how customers use marketing, and how marketing supports sales activity, then partner with internal teams to improve how campaigns and materials are communicated, distributed, and positioned to customers.
Podcast, Media, and Content Distribution: Coordinate the production, scheduling, launch, and promotion of SPR podcast content and related media initiatives. Support the growth of SPR’s media platforms, including YouTube and podcast channels, by ensuring content is promoted consistently across email, social, CRM, and other appropriate outbound channels.
Internal, Vendor, and Event Communications Support: Assist with the production and distribution of internal and vendor communications as needed, while supporting messaging created by the appropriate internal owners. Support event-related marketing and communications for select SPR events throughout the year, and participate in special projects, marketing operations support, process improvements, and other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
The ideal candidate is a strong communicator, organized project manager, and hands-on marketer who can balance execution with strategic awareness. This person should be comfortable managing deadlines, coordinating across teams, and understanding how marketing communications support customer engagement and sales growth.

REQUIRED SKILLS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business Administration (an MBA is a plus). More than 3 years of marketing and/or industry experience preferred.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills required. Capable of effectively presenting a range of information to a variety of people. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, campaign details, press releases and/or email copy to headquarters personnel, field sales team, customers and general public.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, margin and percentages. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions to practical situations.
REASONING ABILITY:
Use intuition to make decisions with limited guidance or a standardized process. Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited normalization exists. Ability to organize, prioritize and manage projects.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Mastery of Marketing Automation through CRM platforms (i.e. SalesForce, HubSpot) is required. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Creative Suite is required. Actionable knowledge of digital marketing tools, such as email marketing, marketing automation, social media; is required.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to sit. The employee is required to stand during presentations and walk.
The employee is occasionally required to lift up to 10 lbs. in managing equipment needed for training sessions. The vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision and ability to adjust focus.
This position requires up to 10% business travel.
