Job Description

Senior Product Designer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Designer based in United Kingdom.

As a Senior Product Designer, you will shape the experience of a modern benefits platform that simplifies insurance, pensions, and employee benefits for companies and their teams. You will work at the core of a product used by thousands of employees across Europe, turning complex financial and insurance workflows into intuitive, elegant digital experiences. This is a high-impact design role where you will own key product areas from concept to delivery, collaborating closely with engineering and product teams. You will contribute to a fast-paced, craft-driven environment where attention to detail, product thinking, and speed of execution are equally valued. Joining early in the design function, you will help define design standards, systems, and patterns that will scale with the product. If you enjoy solving complex UX challenges and building thoughtful, scalable design systems, this role offers strong ownership and creative influence.

Accountabilities
  • Own and design key areas of the product from early discovery through to final implementation, ensuring high-quality user experiences.
  • Translate ambiguous product challenges into clear user flows, interaction models, and intuitive interface designs.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers and product managers to scope, iterate, and ship features at high velocity.
  • Design and evolve scalable design systems, reusable components, and consistent UX patterns across the platform.
  • Improve product quality through design critique, user-centric thinking, and attention to interaction details.
  • Prototype and iterate quickly using modern AI-assisted tools such as Cursor or Claude Code to validate ideas and explore solutions.
  • Contribute to broader product strategy and design direction, helping shape the future of the platform beyond individual features.
  • Advocate for design excellence, ensuring consistency, usability, and clarity across all user touchpoints.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Product Designer working on complex digital products, ideally in B2B, fintech, HR tech, or data-heavy environments.
  • Strong end-to-end ownership mindset, with experience across discovery, UX design, UI design, and delivery.
  • Deep understanding of interaction design, systems thinking, and scalable UX patterns.
  • Experience building and maintaining design systems, with a focus on reusability and consistency.
  • Strong balance between speed and craft, knowing when to iterate quickly and when to refine details.
  • High level of autonomy, initiative, and ownership in fast-moving product environments.
  • Comfortable using AI-assisted design or development tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) for prototyping and iteration.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating product thinking, interaction design, and high-quality visual execution.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working closely with cross-functional teams.
Benefits
  • Competitive compensation package aligned with experience.
  • Private health insurance and pension contribution support.
  • Generous paid time off to support work-life balance.
  • Remote-friendly working environment with flexibility.
  • Work-from-home stipend to support your setup.
  • Group life assurance coverage.
  • Annual company-wide offsite for collaboration and team connection.
  • Opportunity to shape foundational product design systems in a fast-scaling environment.
  • High ownership culture with strong autonomy and trust.
