Channel Account Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Channel Account Manager based in Canada.

This is a strategic, partner-facing sales role focused on accelerating revenue growth through the development and enablement of a strong channel ecosystem. You will be responsible for building, managing, and expanding relationships with key partners, ensuring they operate as true extensions of a high-performing sales organization. The role combines business development, partner enablement, and strategic planning, with a strong emphasis on driving pipeline growth, increasing market reach, and expanding into new accounts. You will work closely with internal sales, technical teams, and executive stakeholders to align partner strategies with business objectives. This position requires a mix of commercial acumen, technical understanding, and relationship leadership in a fast-paced enterprise technology environment. It is ideal for someone who thrives in influencing complex ecosystems and driving measurable business impact through partnerships.

Accountabilities:
  • Develop, manage, and grow strategic partner relationships to drive revenue growth and expand market reach across Canada.
  • Enable partners through structured sales and technical training programs to ensure effective positioning of enterprise technology solutions.
  • Drive pipeline creation and management, including opportunity identification, deal registration, forecasting, and performance tracking.
  • Lead account mapping and joint business planning sessions with partners and internal sales teams to generate new business opportunities.
  • Execute marketing and demand generation initiatives using partner funds to maximize ROI and pipeline impact.
  • Manage partner performance, compliance, and alignment with program requirements while resolving conflicts in deal registration and engagement.
  • Build strong cross-functional relationships across sales, marketing, and technical teams, as well as external ecosystem partners.
  • Support strategic initiatives, quarterly business reviews, and reporting to ensure consistent business growth and execution.
Requirements:
  • 8+ years of experience in channel sales, partner management, or enterprise technology sales roles.
  • Proven track record in managing two-tier channel ecosystems within software, hardware, networking, or security industries.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise networking, application delivery, or cybersecurity solutions is highly desirable.
  • Experience driving partner enablement, pipeline development, and joint business planning in complex sales environments.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and executive stakeholder management skills.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to translate technical concepts into clear value propositions.
  • Experience working with tools such as Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence internal and external stakeholders and manage multiple partner priorities effectively.
  • Willingness to travel up to 60% and work outside standard business hours when required.
