VP of Math Content Production

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a VP of Math Content Production based in United States.

This role sits at the center of transforming high-quality math instruction into scalable, school-ready learning products used across districts and classrooms. You will own the end-to-end production system that turns instructional design into polished, usable, and standards-aligned resources for educators. The position blends instructional leadership, operational execution, and product thinking, ensuring that content is not only pedagogically strong but also accessible, assessable, and adoptable at scale. You will oversee how math materials are aligned to state standards, how student mastery is assessed, and how instructional video and accessibility are built into production from the start. This is a senior leadership role where you will build teams, design systems, and set quality standards that shape the learning experience for hundreds of thousands of students. You will collaborate closely with product and engineering to ensure seamless delivery and usability. The environment is fast-moving, mission-driven, and deeply focused on educational impact at scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Own the end-to-end production system for middle school math content, ensuring instructional materials are transformed into complete, classroom-ready products.
  • Lead alignment of all math content to state-specific standards, maintaining consistency and accuracy as standards and content evolve.
  • Oversee assessment strategy and design, including mastery checks, unit assessments, and alignment with state end-of-year expectations.
  • Build accessibility and universal design principles into the production workflow to ensure all students can fully engage with materials.
  • Lead and scale video production for instructional content, setting quality standards and ensuring consistency across outputs.
  • Design and operationalize a scalable production engine by building teams, systems, and repeatable processes across content functions.
  • Ensure final products are fully adoptable by schools and districts, packaged for real-world classroom implementation.
  • Partner with product and engineering teams to integrate content production workflows into platform tools and delivery systems.
Requirements:
  • Deep expertise in mathematics education, with the ability to distinguish high-quality instruction and hold strong pedagogical standards.
  • Proven experience leading content production or instructional operations, with a track record of delivering high-quality educational materials at scale.
  • Strong understanding of state math standards and curriculum alignment across multiple jurisdictions.
  • Experience in at least one of the following areas at a high level: assessment design, accessibility/universal design, or educational video production, with ability to lead across all.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and scale cross-functional teams and operational systems in a structured, repeatable way.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience hiring, managing, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Comfort working in AI-enabled workflows, with the ability to maintain quality while leveraging new tools to increase production efficiency.
  • Self-directed mindset with strong communication skills and the ability to manage complex, evolving priorities independently.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual salary of $160,000–$200,000.
  • Employer-sponsored health insurance, including medical coverage.
  • Dental and vision insurance, plus additional ancillary benefits.
  • 403(b) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Generous paid time off, including vacation, holidays, parental leave, sick leave, and flexible personal days.
  • Annual professional learning and development budget after eligibility period.
  • Remote-first work environment with flexible scheduling.
  • Life insurance coverage and additional wellness and employee support benefits.
