Job Description

Market Manager

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Market Manager based in the United States.

This role is a field-based marketing and partnership position focused on driving regional growth through hands-on engagement, events, and strategic collaborations. You will act as the primary connector between the platform, dispensary partners, and brand stakeholders across a multi-state territory. The role blends marketing execution, relationship management, and on-the-ground activations to strengthen customer acquisition and brand presence. You will design and deliver culturally relevant programs that elevate partner visibility while supporting broader commercial goals. Working closely with sales and cross-functional teams, you will translate regional strategies into impactful local execution. This is a highly dynamic role requiring frequent travel, strong autonomy, and comfort operating in fast-paced, real-world environments. Success comes from building trusted relationships, delivering measurable ROI, and activating the market with creativity and precision.

Accountabilities:
  • Manage a defined multi-state territory, driving regional marketing initiatives and ensuring alignment with growth and acquisition targets across the market.
  • Build and nurture relationships with dispensaries, brand partners, and stakeholders through regular visits, “retail appreciation” activations, and in-person engagement.
  • Plan and execute local marketing campaigns, events, and cultural activations, including end-to-end event production such as budgeting, logistics, vendor coordination, and post-event reporting.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships across entertainment, sports, fashion, and community sectors to strengthen brand relevance and visibility.
  • Collaborate with sales and cross-functional teams to support revenue goals, improve client experience, and optimize regional marketing investments.
  • Track performance metrics and evaluate ROI of campaigns, partnerships, and activations to continuously refine market strategy.
  • Ensure all field activities and partner engagements are executed to brand standards while managing multiple stakeholders and priorities simultaneously.
Requirements:
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, field marketing, partnerships, or regional marketing roles, ideally in a fast-paced or agency-like environment.
  • Strong understanding of marketing execution, event production, and partnership development, with the ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives.
  • Experience working in or around regulated industries such as cannabis, or familiarity with cannabis marketing best practices (preferred).
  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills across diverse audiences and seniority levels.
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, evaluate campaign performance, and drive ROI-focused decision-making.
  • Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable operating in a high-travel (up to 80%), field-based role requiring significant time on the road.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and ability to operate company vehicles for event execution.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary range of $81,338 – $92,060 per year, plus performance-based bonus eligibility.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with strong employer contributions.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer match.
  • Paid time off, sick leave, and company holidays, including scheduled shutdown periods.
  • Flexible additional benefits including HSA/FSA options, life and disability insurance, and supplemental coverage.
  • Wellness, identity protection, legal support, and commuter-related benefits depending on eligibility.
  • Learning, development, and enrichment programs supporting professional growth and career advancement.
