This role sits at the core of a globally distributed engineering organization building critical commercial systems that power enterprise-grade open-source infrastructure used worldwide. You will design, develop, and operate Golang-based services that support key business functions such as billing, contracts, and customer lifecycle management. Working in a highly collaborative, remote-first environment, you will contribute to systems that directly impact revenue operations, customer experience, and internal business processes. The role offers exposure to complex domains including payments, contract management, and software-driven commercial workflows. You will participate in technical design, code reviews, and production operations while continuously improving engineering standards. • Develop, maintain, and enhance Golang-based backend services powering commercial systems such as billing, contracts, and revenue operations.
• Lead technical design discussions, participate in architecture decisions, and contribute to high-quality code reviews.
• Deploy, monitor, and operate production services, ensuring reliability, scalability, and performance.
• Collaborate across engineering and business teams to translate commercial requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Support the design and evolution of systems handling billing calculations, contract lifecycle management, and customer usage tracking.
• Contribute to service integrations with CRM, payment systems, accounting platforms, and internal tools.
• Participate in incident resolution, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of system reliability and observability.
• Mentor peers, share knowledge, and promote best practices in software engineering and Golang development.

• Strong professional experience in backend software development, with hands-on expertise in Golang.
• Solid understanding of distributed systems, APIs, and backend architecture principles.
• Experience working with production systems, including deployment, monitoring, and incident response.
• Familiarity with cloud environments, CI/CD pipelines, and modern software delivery practices.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a results-driven mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to work effectively in a fully remote, distributed, and collaborative environment.
