About 123Dentist
At 123Dentist, we are one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing dental support organizations, supporting a network of over 500 clinics and 8,000 team members nationwide.
We partner with dental clinics across the country to provide the infrastructure, systems, and operational support they need to deliver exceptional patient care. Our Operations team plays a critical role in ensuring clinics are running efficiently, consistently, and in alignment with national standards.
As we continue to grow, we are focused on strengthening operational performance across our clinic network, improving financial outcomes, and building strong, high-performing clinic teams that deliver exceptional patient and employee experience.
About the Role
123Dentists is one of Canada’s largest and fastest-growing dental networks. As we scale, our focus is shifting from growth through acquisition alone to growth through deeper, more consistent care delivery across our existing network. This role is the operational and strategic engine behind that shift.
The VP, Clinical Growth and Care Transformation will take learnings from the Dental Advisory Council to design and lead the best care and total health initiative — a structured, network-wide program to elevate level of care, improve oral health outcomes, and drive sustainable culture change at the practice level. The role will involve strategy, operations, and change management.
What You’ll Do
- Develop and operationalize the network’s orthodontic growth strategy, with initial emphasis on tooth alignment, tooth protection, and airway treatment.
- Build provider-level frameworks that translate clinical best practices into consistent, day-to-day decision-making and patient conversations.
- Partner with CDMs and regional leadership to drive in-practice adoption and reinforce behaviour change beyond one-time education.
- Design and launch the Best Care and Total Health initiative from the ground up — including program architecture, rollout sequencing, and success metrics.
- Create tools, playbooks, and systems that help dentists act on best practices consistently, not just understand them.
- Establish a reinforcement model (chart reviews, in-practice coaching, accountability loops) that sustains momentum beyond initial rollout.
- Identify opportunities to expand hygiene utilization and recall performance across the network.
- Collaborate with clinical and operations teams to embed hygiene growth into the broader Total Health framework.
- Lead cross-functional workstreams with IT, Education, Marketing, and Finance to build the infrastructure behind the initiative.
- Work closely with key internal partners and the CDM network to leverage existing insights, align on what’s working, and avoid duplication.
- Serve as the internal voice connecting clinical reality at the practice level with strategic priorities at the network level
What You Bring
- 5–8 years of progressive leadership experience in multi-site operations, healthcare, retail, or service-based environments
- Established regulated dental professional (RDA, RDH, DDS) – active license not required
- Deep understanding of how dental clinicians think, make decisions, and experience change — whether from a clinical background, DSO operations, or both.
- Proven ability to design and implement programs that change provider behaviour at scale, not just deliver education.
- Experience working across functions (operations, marketing, finance, clinical) to bring a strategy to life.
- Strong comfort operating in ambiguity and building structure where little exists.
- Familiarity with orthodontic growth strategies (Invisalign, aligner programs, or equivalent) is a strong asset.
