About the role:

SAP BI Senior Consultant and Developer - Datasphere/SAC

Key Responsibilities:

• Contribute to our global digital transformation program by designing and implementing innovative reporting solutions, initially focused on financial andcontrolling related KPIs.
• Collaborate with international colleagues, gathering requirements and turning them into transformative projects.
• Participate in global project teams and take ownership of work packages within large-scale transformation initiatives.
• Act as a trusted advisor for business stakeholders, translating business requirements into scalable BI and analytics solutions.
• Develop new data models and interfaces, driving our data initiatives forward.
• Plan, design, and build new reporting scenarios and complex BI solutions using the SAP Tech Stack.
• Provide expert consulting on BI products, especially Business Data Cloud, SAP Datasphere and SAP Analytics Cloud, guiding departments through newtechnologies.
• Deliver worldwide support to internal teams across the organization.
• Support the definition and implementation of BI standards, governance frameworks, and best practices across the organization.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent English language skills (C1 level, spoken and written).
• Strong communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Customer-focused mindset with the ability to work in a global team.
• Several years of professional experience in SAP Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Warehousing environments.
• Proven experience in gathering and translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a structured and solution-oriented mindset.
• Experience working in international and cross-functional project environments.
• Ability to independently drive topics from concept to implementation.
• Solid hands-on experience with:
• SAP Datasphere / SAP Business Data Cloud
• SAP Analytics Cloud (Stories, Applications, Planning is a plus)
• Data modelling and data warehousing concepts
• SQL and data transformation techniques
• Integration of SAP and non-SAP source systems
• Building and consuming data products and analytical datasets

Nice to have:

• Experience with SAP BW/4HANA or SAP BW.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA data structures and CDS Views.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms and data integration technologies.
• Knowledge of planning and financial reporting processes.
• German language skills (B2 or higher).).
