Position Description: HBG Design is seeking a skilled Junior Interior Designer to contribute to the design and delivery of the firm’s national hospitality and entertainment projects. The Successful Candidate:
If you are looking for an exciting place to start your career, HBG Design is seeking a Junior Interior Designer with the ability to be a self-starter and to build upon skills by seeking out responsibilities and learning from past experiences and through exposure to other designers. This position requires a passion for design through research, travel, and exposure to trends, products, and spaces. The successful candidate will also possess high level analytical and problem-solving skills.

Position Responsibilities:
• Develop design sketches with input from others.
• Determine furniture selections while collaborating with other designers.
• Regularly monitor and track internal deadlines set by Senior Interior Designer to ensure timely project delivery.
• Develop finishes and material boards in collaboration with other designers.
• Develop the design for small projects or portions of projects with assistance from others.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree from Interior Design/Interior Architecture program.
• 0-3 years practical experience in interior design.
• Exhibit intermediate knowledge of construction methods, costs, and how it relates to design and FF&E costs.
• Possess high aptitude for presentation skills, both verbally and graphically, utilizing programs such as Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp.

The Compensation:
$55,000 - $65,000 per year.
Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, regional cost of living, experience, and qualifications.
