Junior Interior Designer in Dallas, Texas at HBG Design

HBG Design is seeking a skilled Junior Interior Designer to contribute to the design and delivery of the firm’s national hospitality and entertainment projects. The position will work with project teams across three offices in the execution of design to meet the established project design goals.

This position requires a passion for design through research, travel, and exposure to trends, products, and spaces. The successful candidate will also possess high level analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Develop design sketches with input from others.

• Determine furniture selections while collaborating with other designers.

• Regularly monitor and track internal deadlines set by Senior Interior Designer to ensure timely project delivery.

• Develop finishes and material boards in collaboration with other designers.

• Develop the design for small projects or portions of projects with assistance from others.

• Bachelor’s degree from Interior Design/Interior Architecture program.

• 0-3 years practical experience in interior design.

• Exhibit intermediate knowledge of construction methods, costs, and how it relates to design and FF&E costs.

• Possess high aptitude for presentation skills, both verbally and graphically, utilizing programs such as Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, and SketchUp.

$55,000 - $65,000 per year.

Individual compensation packages are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, regional cost of living, experience, and qualifications.
