Shift(s) Available: Night Shift | Monday–Friday | 3:30 PM - 1:00 AM
Compensation: Weekly & Competitive Pay + Overtime Available + Benefits & 401k Day #1
The Sheet Metal Fabricator is responsible for setting up and operating equipment used to fabricate sheet metal components from steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. This role ensures parts are manufactured according to blueprint specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.
We are willing to train motivated candidates who demonstrate strong mechanical aptitude, a positive attitude, and a desire to learn.
Key Responsibilities
Set up and operate fabrication equipment including cold saws, drill presses, and brake presses
Read and interpret basic blueprints, drawings, and work instructions
Understand dimensions, tolerances, setup requirements, and sequence of operations
Deburr, grind, and finish fabricated parts using hand tools and power-driven equipment
Inspect finished products and verify conformance to customer and engineering specifications
Use measuring instruments to check dimensions and quality requirements
Perform basic preventive maintenance on equipment as required
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and pneumatic equipment
Strong math and measurement skills
Mechanical aptitude with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work
Dependable with excellent attendance, reliability, and punctuality
Positive attitude and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
Ability to follow work instructions, safety procedures, and quality standards
Preferred (Not Required - We Will Train)
Previous experience in manufacturing, fabrication, machining, welding, or machine operation
Blueprint reading experience
Familiarity with precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, rulers, and height gauges
