ServiceNow Developer

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a ServiceNow Developer in India.

This is an exciting opportunity for a technically skilled ServiceNow professional to contribute to the development and optimization of enterprise HR service delivery solutions within a global, fast-paced environment. In this role, you will help design scalable workflows, automate HR operations, and build seamless integrations that enhance employee experiences and operational efficiency. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams across multiple regions, leveraging cutting-edge ServiceNow capabilities including HRSD, Flow Designer, Virtual Agent, and IntegrationHub. The position offers strong exposure to enterprise-scale transformation projects, modern cloud technologies, and AI-enabled workflows. Accountabilities:
  • Design, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications using Business Rules, Script Includes, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Catalog UI Scripts, and scoped applications.
  • Develop and enhance HR Service Delivery modules including HR Case Management, Lifecycle Events, Knowledge Management, Employee Document Management, and HR Service Catalogs.
  • Build and optimize workflows using Flow Designer, Workflow Editor, reusable subflows, actions, and IntegrationHub capabilities.
  • Create secure and scalable integrations with third-party HR systems such as payroll platforms, identity providers, and employee management tools using REST/SOAP APIs and other integration methods.
  • Configure Virtual Agent, Agent Chat, Advanced Work Assignment (AWA), and Employee Center functionalities to improve HR self-service and employee engagement.
  • Develop custom portal widgets and user experiences using AngularJS, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and ServiceNow APIs.
  • Maintain system performance through script optimization, governance best practices, troubleshooting, and ongoing platform enhancements.
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders and technical teams to gather requirements, deliver scalable solutions, and support operational excellence initiatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2–4 years of hands-on experience in ServiceNow development, configuration, and administration, particularly within HRSD environments.
  • Strong expertise in JavaScript, Glide APIs, Flow Designer, scoped application development, and ServiceNow platform customization.
  • Experience integrating third-party applications and enterprise systems using APIs, IntegrationHub, JDBC, or file-based integrations.
  • Familiarity with AngularJS, Service Portal development, workflow automation, and role-based access control (ACLs).
  • Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies and collaborative software delivery practices.
  • Mandatory ServiceNow certifications: Certified System Administrator (CSA) and Certified Application Developer (CAD).
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently across global and cross-functional teams.
  • Additional certifications such as ITIL or CIS-ITSM, along with experience in ServiceNow upgrades, ITSM, or AI-related modules, are considered a plus.
