Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Electrical Assembler to assemble components, subassemblies, and finished products according to engineering drawings, work instructions, and production schedules. The ideal candidate has strong electro/mechanical aptitude, experience with crimping, soldering, and using multimeters. Ability to work efficiently in a manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Assemble electrical components, control panels, wiring harnesses, cables, and related systems
- Perform cable routing, wire termination, crimping, soldering, labeling, and connector installation
- Read and interpret technical drawings, electrical schematics, and bills of materials (BOMs)
- Perform adjustments, alignments, and basic troubleshooting during assembly
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following safety guidelines
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, and production teams to resolve assembly issues
- Record production and quality data as required
- Inspect completed assemblies to ensure quality and accuracy
- Meet daily production targets and deadlines
- Complete all assigned tasks accurately and in a timely manner.
- Maintain a professional and customer-friendly attitude when dealing with internal and external customers.
- Participate in year-end inventory projects as required.
- Be available to work additional hours when required.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read measuring tools such as tape measures, calipers, fluke meters, and micrometers
- Basic understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and components
- Ability to read blueprints and assembly instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or equivalent (technical or vocational training preferred)
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing plant or warehouse position (preferred)
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting, and moving of materials
- Lifting/carrying up to 50 lbs.
- Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
