Location: Pasadena, TX
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. (after-hours/weekend support as needed)
FLSA Status: Exempt
A leading logistics and distribution company is seeking an experienced Customer Service Supervisor to lead and support a customer service team in a fast-paced distribution environment. This role oversees daily customer service operations while continuing to provide direct customer support, inventory oversight, and analytical reporting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and support customer service staff, including training and performance feedback
- Oversee shipping, receiving, billing, and inventory transactions
- Resolve customer issues and discrepancies promptly and professionally
- Prepare reports and perform profitability and efficiency analysis
- Collaborate with operations, transportation, and management teams
Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of customer service experience; prior supervisory experience preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; WMS/TMS experience a plus
Compensation:
Compensation is commensurate with education and experience.
Work Conditions, Physical and/or Mental Requirements:
- Sedentary role requiring reaching, lifting, finger dexterity, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions, talking, and hearing
- Visual requirements include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus
- 90% or more of work time is spent at a computer
- Frequent standing, walking, or mobility required
- Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 40 pounds
- Ability to manage stressful situations as they arise
- Periodic workweeks exceeding 40 hours may occur
- Occasional weekend work may be required
