Description: HR Administrative Specialist (Hybrid HR / Executive Support)
Asheville, NC
Full time Approx. 40 hours/week total; ~20 hours supporting CEO

Seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to support both Human Resources functions and provide executive-level administrative support to leadership in a mission-driven environment.

• Assist with recruiting efforts including job postings, interview scheduling, and candidate communication
• Support onboarding and new hire orientation processes
• Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
• Assist with benefits enrollment and respond to general HR inquiries
• Support HR systems (UKG or similar), including data entry and reporting
• Assist with internal communications, trainings, and HR-related projects

• Manage CEO calendar, scheduling meetings and coordinating logistics
• Organize and prioritize meeting requests and communications
• Prepare meeting materials, agendas, and follow-ups
• Support coordination of board and leadership meetings
• Provide administrative support for special projects and organizational initiatives

• 2+ years of administrative or HR support experience preferred
• Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multitask
• High level of professionalism and confidentiality required
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficiency in Google Workspace required
• Experience with HR systems (UKG or similar) preferred
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

• Experience supporting executives or senior leadership preferred
• Interest in HR and nonprofit work is a plus
• Strong attention to detail and ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
