This role sits at the center of brand strategy, financial planning, and cross-functional marketing leadership within a fast-moving, highly competitive healthcare environment. You will be responsible for shaping annual brand direction, driving strategic planning cycles, and ensuring alignment between market insights, financial forecasts, and execution priorities. Working closely with senior leadership and cross-functional partners, you will translate complex data and market dynamics into clear strategic narratives that guide decision-making. The environment is highly collaborative and intellectually rigorous, requiring both analytical depth and executive-level communication. You will also lead competitive readiness efforts and contribute to shaping go-to-market strategies in a dynamic oncology-focused landscape. This position blends strategic ownership with hands-on leadership across planning, insights, and execution.

Accountabilities:

In this role, you will lead strategic marketing planning and financial alignment for key brand initiatives, ensuring that insights, forecasts, and execution are tightly integrated.

  • Lead annual brand planning processes, defining strategic priorities and aligning cross-functional execution plans.
  • Partner with insights and analytics teams to develop, refine, and validate forecasts and market assumptions.
  • Drive competitive readiness activities by synthesizing market intelligence into actionable recommendations.
  • Own brand financial planning, including budget tracking, forecasting, and identifying risks and opportunities.
  • Lead Annual Operating Plan (AOP) development in collaboration with Finance and Marketing leadership.
  • Translate complex market and performance data into executive-ready communications and strategic narratives.
  • Collaborate with marketing, digital, and patient engagement teams to ensure integrated execution of brand strategy.
  • Support ad hoc strategic initiatives, including market shaping, segmentation, and leadership-driven projects.
Requirements:

This position requires a seasoned marketing leader with strong analytical capability, strategic thinking, and experience operating in complex healthcare or pharmaceutical environments.

  • 7+ years of marketing experience (or equivalent advanced degree combination), with 10+ years in pharmaceutical or healthcare commercial roles preferred.
  • Strong background in brand strategy, market planning, or commercial marketing within competitive therapeutic areas.
  • Experience working with financial planning, forecasting, and business performance tracking.
  • Ability to interpret customer insights, market research, and analytics into strategic recommendations.
  • Proven capability to influence cross-functional teams and lead without formal authority.
  • Strong executive communication skills with the ability to simplify complex data into clear narratives.
  • Experience working in oncology or highly competitive therapeutic markets is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and comfort working in data-driven, fast-paced environments.
Benefits:
  • Competitive base salary with annual bonus eligibility
  • Equity opportunities and participation in employee stock purchase plans
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage
  • 401(k) retirement savings plan with company participation
  • Flexible paid time off and wellness-focused leave policies
  • Remote work flexibility across the United States
  • Family support benefits including parental leave
  • Professional development and learning opportunities
  • Wellness resources including mental health and coaching support.
