Laundry Attendant - Full Time in Providence, Rhode Island at EXCHANGE ST HOTEL LLC

We have a current opportunity to join our team in the exciting hospitality industry as a Laundry Attendant. The Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining a constant supply of clean linens for the hotel, in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Perform all stages of linen processing, including, but not limited to, collecting, transporting, sorting, weighing, loading and unloading (washers, dryers and chutes), ironing, folding, storing and delivering.
• Must fold laundry with care while separating out any stained/damaged linen and removing any hair/debris.
• Replenish laundry supplies as needed.
• Complete laundry duties to the established standards.
• Restock & organize all work areas as necessary.
• Maintain stock levels.
• Respond to guest service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
• Perform additional laundry services, as needed.

Requirements:

• Availability on weekends and holidays.
• Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from groups of managers, coworkers, vendors and guests.
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, lift and walk for an extended period of time.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull and place objects weighing to 50 pounds without assistance.
