ISB seeks a Full-Time Elementary Spanish Teacher for the 2026-2027 School Year
Candidates should be able to use their expertise in elementary education to confidently lead a classroom. Teachers at ISB are expected to work collaboratively in lesson planning to implement a strong and engaging PYP curriculum. Duties include teaching reading, writing, social studies, and math in Spanish and providing academic support.
Qualification Requirements
Candidates should enjoy creating learning experiences designed to nurture the development of the whole child in a strong collaborative work environment.
Candidates should be able to use their expertise in elementary education to confidently lead a classroom on campus and deliver strong instruction within the context of the school’s IB and language immersion environment.
Ideal candidates will enjoy using a wide array of resources to build rich learning experiences while integrating multiple approaches to ensure differentiation.
Experience working with elementary-aged children with an ability to display effective classroom management is important in this role.
Teachers in this role should enjoy working closely with a support team within the classroom and have excellent communication skills.
Educational Background and Skills
Ideal applicants will have experience teaching full classes in Spanish and be bilingual or native Spanish speakers.
Candidates should hold a degree in Education and have at least two years of head teaching experience in an Upper Elementary School setting.
Knowledge of PYP and experience in a language immersion program is a plus.

Salary Range: minimum $65,731 to maximum $107,899 (based on teaching experience and faculty scale year 1 – 30+).
