Job Description

Description:

We are seeking a dynamic, relationship-driven Advisor Relations Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate has more than 3 years of industry experience, excels at building authentic connections, identifying strategic growth opportunities, and managing long-term professional relationships.

Location: This position is based in Coralville, IA; Des Moines, IA; Joplin, MO; Madison, WI. A hybrid work schedule is available, with a mix of in-office and remote work to support collaboration, flexibility, and business needs.

What You’ll Do

Introduction to Firm Services

  • Onboard and educate new and existing network representatives on the full spectrum of firm services, capabilities, and value propositions.
  • Conduct engaging presentations and deep-dive sessions to ensure network partners thoroughly understand how our services can support their strategic goals.
  • Drive increased usage of Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), participating in SME introduction meetings to drive action and implementing continued follow-up using a "7x 7 ways" approach.
  • Develop and update introductory collateral, resources, and onboarding pathways.

Primary Point of Contact for Network Reps

  • Serve as the dedicated, go-to liaison for all day-to-day inquiries, escalations, and support needs from network representatives.
  • Streamline communication channels between internal teams and external network partners to ensure timely, high-quality resolution of requests.
  • Act as a key feedback loop for network services while reducing the volume of direct inquiries to other departments
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge base of network representative profiles, preferences, and feedback.

Cross-Selling & Service Optimization

  • Proactively analyze network rep portfolios to identify gaps and optimize the utilization of firm services.
  • Strategically cross-sell relevant solutions and add-on services that align with the specific needs and growth objectives of network partners.
  • Collaborate with internal service line leaders to create tailored proposals and service packages.
  • Conduct advanced planning by proactively identifying growth opportunities within advisors' books of business that they may not recognize due to lack of experience.

Relationship Management & Engagement

  • Act as a super-connector within the industry, facilitating meaningful introductions and networking opportunities for partners.
  • Coordinate and manage exclusive engagement initiatives, including sending invitations to specialized firm events, webinars, and roundtables.
  • Represent the firm at industry conferences and networking events, actively strengthening existing ties and building new professional bridges.

What’s in it for you?

We provide a total rewards package focused on your health, family, and financial security. This includes comprehensive medical, dental, and vision options alongside company-paid disability and life insurance. We support your work-life balance with PTO, paid holidays, volunteer time off, and paid parental leave. Finally, we invest in your future through a 401(k) plan and a robust Employee Assistance Program for professional support.

Compensation: The anticipated pay range for this position is $75,000-100,000, based on your level of experience and technical expertise.

Requirements:
  • 3+ years of financial industry experience in account management, relationship management, or a client-facing role (financial services, professional services, or corporate networking environments preferred). CFP certification is highly desired.
  • Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills with a proven ability to present complex services clearly.
  • Strong consultative selling skills with a natural ability to identify cross-selling opportunities and optimize client satisfaction.
  • Excellent project management abilities, capable of balancing multiple relationship touchpoints, event invitations, and follow-ups simultaneously.
  • Primary KPI: Drive usage and revenue growth of SME services by network advisors

Physical Requirements:
