Customer Strategy Manager (DTC)

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Customer Strategy Manager (DTC) based in Brazil.

This role offers the opportunity to become a strategic partner for e-commerce brands by combining data-driven insights, digital marketing expertise, and customer relationship management.
You will manage a portfolio of mid-market and enterprise accounts, helping clients maximize growth through effective retail media strategies.
The position requires strong analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to transform campaign data into actionable business recommendations.
Working closely with internal teams, you will influence optimization strategies across major advertising channels and contribute to customer success.
You will have exposure to multiple areas of the business while continuously developing your expertise in digital commerce, advertising technology, and performance marketing.

Accountabilities:

As a Customer Strategy Manager, you will own client relationships and drive strategic initiatives that improve digital marketing performance. You will act as a trusted advisor, combining business knowledge, analytics, and communication skills to help customers achieve measurable growth.

  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 10–15 customer accounts, taking ownership of relationships, strategy, and performance outcomes.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for clients, managing expectations and leading recurring business meetings.
  • Analyze digital marketing campaign performance across channels such as Google, Bing, Meta, and Amazon.
  • Present insights, recommendations, and strategic opportunities based on campaign data and business objectives.
  • Prepare client reports, performance reviews, and quarterly business reviews to demonstrate value and align on goals.
  • Act as a subject matter expert in digital marketing, e-commerce, retail media, and advertising optimization.
  • Collaborate with data, strategy, product, and technology teams to identify opportunities for campaign improvements and platform enhancements.
  • Support customer onboarding processes and collaborate with implementation teams to ensure successful client launches.
  • Identify opportunities for account expansion, including new channels, increased investment, testing opportunities, and strategic initiatives.
  • Stay current on product capabilities, industry trends, and evolving digital advertising practices.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a customer-focused and analytical professional with experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, or agency environments. You should be comfortable working with data, presenting insights, and managing strategic client relationships in a fast-paced environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in an agency environment, e-commerce business, or client-facing role with ownership of customer relationships.
  • Proven ability to use data and analytics to drive strategic decisions and business recommendations.
  • Strong analytical mindset with curiosity and interest in performance-driven marketing.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel, including formulas, VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, and data analysis.
  • Experience with analytics platforms such as Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, TripleWhale, or similar tools.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate complex insights clearly and effectively.
  • Ability to solve problems independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive approach when facing challenges.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, including the ability to manage difficult customer conversations.
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken, to collaborate effectively with global teams.
  • Experience with digital advertising platforms such as Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, Meta Ads, or Amazon PPC is highly desirable.
  • Background in e-commerce, ad tech, retail media, or digital marketing is preferred.
  • Experience in fast-paced startup environments and building partnerships with clients or vendors is a plus.
  • Certifications in Google Ads, Google Analytics, or Amazon Ads are considered advantageous.
