Job Description
Boyd Richards is seeking exceptional attorneys to join our growing West Palm Beach office as Associates. We are interested in candidates with strong academic and professional credentials who are eager to take on meaningful responsibility across our litigation and appellate practices, including professional liability and the many other disciplines listed below.
Associates at Boyd Richards have the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters, develop strong litigation skills, interact directly with clients, and collaborate closely with experienced attorneys. We offer a dynamic environment where associates are encouraged to take initiative, assume responsibility, and build their careers based on ability, performance, and ambition.
WHY BOYD RICHARDS:
Diverse, sophisticated matters: our lawyers handle complex, challenging, high-stakes disputes across a broad range of disciplines, including professional liability, commercial litigation, appellate matters, insurance coverage, employment, cyber, securities, white-collar defense, community association, construction, and general liability matters.
Real litigation experience: frequent hearings, depositions, mediations, court appearances, and trial opportunities. Our lawyers do not spend years on the sidelines.
Ownership and visibility: manage matters from inception through resolution, with meaningful client and carrier contact.
Direct access: work closely with experienced trial and appellate lawyers rather than functioning only in a support role.
Flexible advancement: talented lawyers can progress as quickly as their ability, judgment, initiative, business development, ambition, and leadership permit.
Modern platform: newly designed offices and advanced document-management, practice-management, research, collaboration, and litigation technology.
Long-term opportunity: build and expand a practice across Boyd Richards’ Florida and New York footprint in a collegial, growing firm.
WHO WE WANT TO MEET:
The specific openings below reflect current priorities, but they are not an exclusive list. Boyd Richards welcomes confidential inquiries from outstanding attorneys interested in joining our firm as Associates across our offices and practice areas.
• Associates at all levels: We are seeking talented associates who are eager to develop their practices, take on meaningful responsibility, and grow with the firm.
Litigation and appellate experience: Professional liability is an important part of our platform, but we welcome associates with experience across the firm’s full range of litigation and appellate disciplines.
Strong advocates: Candidates with experience in federal and state court, depositions, hearings, mediations, arbitrations, or trials are encouraged to apply.
Client-focused professionals: We value associates who demonstrate sound judgment, responsiveness, professionalism, and the ability to build strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
Future leaders: We seek associates who demonstrate initiative, excellent writing and analytical skills, attention to detail, ownership of matters and deadlines, and a genuine commitment to developing their careers.
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Boyd Richards offers competitive compensation commensurate with experience, medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement benefits, professional-development support, hybrid work arrangements, modern offices, and advanced technology resources.
EXPERIENCE:
Two or more years of relevant experience preferred; candidates at all experience levels are encouraged to apply.
STATE / ADMISSION:
Florida Bar admission required. Federal admission in the Southern and/or Middle District of Florida is expected for employment-practices candidates and preferred otherwise.
REPRESENTATIVE PRACTICE AREAS:

Insurance coverage
Homeowners' association disputes
Employment practices liability
White-collar defense

HOW TO APPLY:
