The Advance Process Optimization and Control Services Delivery Manager will lead technical activities related to advanced process control, optimization solutions, and AI-driven industrial applications. The role requires deep technical expertise, strong customer engagement skills, and the ability to manage complex implementations. Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting commercial teams in identifying, evaluating, and presenting process optimization opportunities to customers.
- Developing technical proposals for advanced optimization projects across industries such as LNG, gas processing, refining, fertilizers, and olefins.
- Leading implementation teams to ensure successful technical delivery and customer adoption of optimization solutions.
- Providing subject matter expertise on process optimization technologies, industrial use cases, and solution development.
- Collaborating with product managers, data scientists, engineers, and customers to expand the use of AI and machine learning-based optimization applications.
- Advising product teams on industry requirements, innovation opportunities, and feature improvements.
- Monitoring industry trends and sharing technology insights with engineering and services teams.
- Coaching and mentoring technical experts globally, supporting knowledge development and best practices.
- Promoting a strong culture of safety, compliance, quality, and operational excellence.
The ideal candidate is an experienced process engineering professional with a strong background in advanced process control, optimization technologies, and industrial implementation projects. This role requires technical leadership, business understanding, and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and senior stakeholders. Required qualifications and skills include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Chemical Engineering or a related technical field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience implementing Advanced Process Control (APC) and/or optimization solutions.
- Proven experience leading technical implementations for complex industrial processes.
- Strong knowledge of process optimization methodologies and technologies.
- Experience developing and applying data-driven or machine learning-based optimization models.
- Ability to work with industrial operational environments and understand plant processes.
- Strong customer engagement, communication, and presentation skills.
- Experience influencing senior stakeholders and supporting strategic investment decisions.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with engineering, product, and data science teams.
- Experience with process modeling, analytics, and understanding of data-driven solution limitations.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Expert-level knowledge of APC and optimization technologies.
- Experience with industrial sectors such as LNG, cryogenic processes, syngas, fertilizers, gas processing, refining, or olefins.
