The Process Improvement Project Analyst Principal will serve as a strategic leader responsible for driving large-scale process transformation initiatives, improving organizational capabilities, and delivering measurable outcomes. This role combines operational excellence expertise, stakeholder influence, and analytical problem-solving to create sustainable improvements across the organization.
- Lead enterprise-wide and highly complex cross-functional transformation initiatives using Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Identify process improvement opportunities, define future-state operating models, and deliver measurable financial, operational, customer, and employee outcomes.
- Partner with senior and executive leaders to shape strategic decisions, align stakeholders, and drive successful transformation efforts.
- Establish and maintain continuous improvement standards, frameworks, tools, dashboards, reporting structures, and value measurement practices.
- Develop and execute improvement strategies that support operational maturity, scalability, and long-term business performance.
- Apply healthcare, industry, and operational insights to identify emerging opportunities and influence strategic priorities.
- Mentor and coach process improvement professionals and business partners in Lean Six Sigma methods, project execution, facilitation, and change leadership.
- Build organizational capabilities through training, governance, knowledge sharing, and advancement of continuous improvement practices.
- Use advanced analytics, data visualization, and business insights to validate root causes, measure results, and guide decision-making.
- Support enterprise change initiatives by promoting adoption, sustainability, and long-term benefit realization.
- Perform additional responsibilities as needed to support organizational goals.
The ideal candidate is an experienced process improvement leader with strong analytical capabilities, business acumen, and a proven ability to influence enterprise-level change. This role requires expertise in Lean Six Sigma, transformation management, stakeholder engagement, and data-driven decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Information Technology, Healthcare, Operations, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
- 7+ years of experience in process improvement, Lean Six Sigma, business analysis, operational excellence, or project management.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification required.
- Experience leading complex enterprise and cross-functional transformation initiatives.
- Strong ability to analyze ambiguous business challenges, establish solutions, and deliver measurable improvements.
- Advanced proficiency in data analysis, statistics, visualization, and translating insights into business actions.
- Excellent executive communication, facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior leaders and build alignment across diverse teams.
- Strong coaching and mentoring abilities with experience developing continuous improvement capabilities.
- Strategic thinker with strong business judgment, systems thinking, and change leadership skills.
- Experience in healthcare, pharmacy benefit management, regulated industries, or large-scale operational environments preferred.
- Master’s degree in Business, Engineering, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, Data Analytics, or a related field is preferred.
- Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt certification is a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent advanced project/program management certification preferred.
- Experience with automation, artificial intelligence, predictive analytics, process mining, business intelligence, or advanced data science tools is beneficial.
- Experience building enterprise continuous improvement programs, centers of excellence, or operational excellence frameworks is preferred.
- Familiarity with organizational change management methodologies such as Prosci or ADKAR is a plus.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without requiring work visa or residency sponsorship.
- Competitive salary range of approximately $94,000 – $160,000 annually, based on experience, skills, and qualifications.
