Our product line ranges from fresh meats and produce to cleaning supplies and kitchen equipment. Position Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and versatile IT Specialist to join our team. The IT Specialist will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to end-users, maintaining IT infrastructure, and ensuring the smooth operation of IT systems and services. This role requires a strong technical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Support:
- Serve as the first point of contact for IT support requests from end-users via phone, email, or in-person.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other IT equipment.
- Provide guidance and assistance to end-users on IT-related matters, including software applications, password resets, and system access.
- System Administration:
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and maintenance of operating systems, software applications, and peripherals.
- Perform routine system administration tasks, such as user account management, access control, and system updates.
- Monitor system performance and security and implement preventive maintenance measures.
- Network Management:
- Assist with the setup and configuration of network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and implement solutions to ensure reliable network operation.
- Assist with the maintenance of network infrastructure, including cable management, patching, and documentation.
- IT Asset Management:
- Maintain an inventory of IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals.
- Track asset lifecycles from procurement to disposal and ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Coordinate with procurement and finance teams to order, receive, and reconcile IT equipment and software licenses.
- Documentation and Training:
- Create and maintain documentation for IT systems, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.
- Provide training and support to end-users on IT tools and applications.
- Develop and deliver IT-related training sessions and workshops for staff members.
- Business Central Management:
- Assist with Administration and support of Dynamics 365 Business Central, ensuring system efficiency and reliability.
- Assist with configuration of Business Central functionalities to align with business requirements.
- Assist with training and support of users to improve adoption and usability.
- Data Analysis:
- Collaborate with various departments to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex datasets.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize Power BI reports and dashboards to deliver insightful business analytics.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in computer science, information technology, or relevant experience.
- 2+ years of experience in IT support or a related role.
- Strong technical proficiency with desktop operating systems (Windows 10, 11) and office productivity software (Microsoft Office).
- Familiarity with basic networking concepts and protocols.
- 1+ years of experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central.
- 1+ years of experience with Power BI.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA A+, Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician) are a plus.
