Job Summary

The Director of Marketing is responsible for leading both the strategic and tactical demand generation marketing efforts for Snap Fitness across the United States and Canada. This role supports franchisees and master partners across the Americas region to drive membership growth, enhance local marketing initiatives, and maintain brand consistency.

The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in cross-channel marketing, team leadership, and delivering measurable business results through innovative campaigns and franchise support.

Key Responsibilities

Marketing Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with brand goals to drive membership growth.
  • Own the annual marketing plan and budget, ensuring cohesive national and local marketing alignment.
  • Lead execution of a multi-channel marketing calendar including global, national, and local campaigns (online and offline).

Franchisee Support & Education

  • Create and distribute quarterly, monthly, and weekly marketing guides and toolkits for franchisees.
  • Deliver live training sessions, webinars, and one-on-one support on local, digital, and social media marketing tactics.
  • Gather and integrate franchisee feedback into future campaign optimization and educational initiatives.

Team & Cross-Functional Leadership

  • Lead and mentor a team of marketing professionals; set clear goals, provide feedback, and support professional development.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (operations, customer experience, franchise support, product development) to ensure brand-aligned execution.

Campaign Management & Optimization

  • Review and assess marketing campaign performance using data and analytics to identify gaps and opportunities.
  • Monitor consumer and competitor trends, ensuring Snap Fitness stays ahead of market demands.
  • Recommend and implement continuous improvements in marketing processes and tools.

Stakeholder Engagement & Events

  • Interface regularly with the Franchise Advisory Committee to drive strategic marketing discussions and franchisee alignment.
  • Build and manage relationships with media partners, agencies, and vendors.
  • Represent marketing at franchisee regional meetings and national conventions (2–3x per year).

Other Duties

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned to support the success of the broader business objectives.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of progressive marketing experience, including franchise or multi-location brand experience.
  • Proven success in team leadership, campaign development, and cross-functional collaboration.

  • Experience using analytics platforms and dashboards to inform decision-making.
  • Adept at market research, trend analysis, and identifying growth opportunities.

Marketing Expertise

  • Hands-on experience in digital, content, event, social media, and experiential marketing.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation tools, CRM platforms, and digital ad management.
  • Knowledge of franchise systems and support models is highly preferred.
