You will join a field-focused commercial team responsible for driving product adoption and market growth within a defined territory in the healthcare sector. In this role, you will be accountable for achieving ambitious sales targets while building strong, trust-based relationships with healthcare professionals and distribution partners. You will operate independently in the field, executing strategic sales plans, promoting therapeutic products, and ensuring strong market presence across your assigned geography. The role requires consistent field engagement, disciplined reporting, and strong execution of coverage and call norms. You will act as a key brand ambassador, contributing directly to prescription generation and territory performance. - Achieve assigned sales targets across the designated territory by executing effective field sales strategies.
- Promote pharmaceutical products to healthcare professionals in alignment with company strategy and market priorities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors, chemists, stockists, and other key stakeholders.
- Drive prescription generation and contribute to increasing overall market share within the assigned region.
- Ensure disciplined fieldwork execution, including daily reporting through digital tracking systems.
- Maintain compliance with call average, coverage, and frequency norms as defined by the organization.
- Act as a brand ambassador, representing products professionally and effectively in the field.
- Gather market insights and support strategic planning through feedback from customers and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in BSc or B.Pharm (or equivalent qualification).
- 2+ years of experience in pharmaceutical sales; freshers with strong communication and analytical skills may also be considered.
- Prior exposure to therapeutic sales or experience with reputed pharma companies is an advantage.
- Strong communication, persuasion, and interpersonal skills with confidence in field interactions.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a field-based, target-driven environment.
- Strong relationship-building skills with healthcare professionals and distribution networks.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to understand market dynamics and customer needs.
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory (up to 100% field travel).
- High level of discipline, ownership, and resilience in achieving sales targets.
